One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/full\/10.1080\/23328940.2017.1288688\">study<\/a> even found that taking a hot bath can burn the same amount of calories as a 30-minute walk. So seriously, make some time to soak.\n\nFor a truly satisfying experience, we thought it&#8217;d be fun to design our own beauty bath bomb at home. This fun DIY recipe uses epsom salts to soften skin and soothe muscles as well as lavender <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/essential-oils\/\">essential oil<\/a>, which studies show can help you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/sleep-better\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sleep more deeply<\/a>.\n<h2>Bath Bomb Recipe<\/h2>\n<h3>Ingredients<\/h3>\n<ul>\n \t<li>1\/2 cup baking soda<\/li>\n \t<li>1\/4 cup citric acid<\/li>\n \t<li>1\/4 cup cornstarch<\/li>\n \t<li>1\/4 cup epsom salt<\/li>\n \t<li>3 tsp castor oil<\/li>\n \t<li>1 tsp lavender essential oil<\/li>\n \t<li>A few drops of natural food coloring<\/li>\n \t<li>1 tbsp water<\/li>\n \t<li>Soap molds or Easter eggs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n \t<li>Mix the baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, and epsom salt into one bowl.<\/li>\n \t<li>Mix the castor oil, lavender essential oils, food coloring, and water in another small bowl.<\/li>\n \t<li>Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients to the dry ones, stirring as you go.<\/li>\n \t<li>Press mixture into soap molds or easter eggs and
