Case in point: the rise of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/what-are-peptides\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"\">peptides<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Peptides are increasingly in the cultural conversation. First there was the GLP-1 boom, which is still going strong as the drugs become more accessible and advanced. Soon after, other peptides migrated from biohacking circles to the broader population, promising a quick fix for pretty much any wellness concern under the sun: weight, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/anti-inflammatory-lifestyle\/\">inflammation<\/a>, skin health, gut function, muscle growth, you name it. While many of the peptides in the conversation aren\u2019t FDA\u2013approved or even clinically researched in humans, devotees can\u2019t get enough of them.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Peptide stacking\u2014i.e., combining peptides to personalize your results\u2014is becoming more mainstream, and it seems that it\u2019ll only grow in popularity. In March, Health Secretary RFK Jr. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2026\/03\/31\/nx-s1-5768206\/peptides-rfk-fda-compounding-pharmacies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">voiced<\/a> his interest in lifting the FDA ban on a dozen-plus peptides, which would give the green light to compounding pharmacies to make and sell them. Nonetheless, that\u2019s not stopping people from getting their hands on their own stacks, whether through early-adopting medical professionals or online marketplaces.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>We asked a few professionals in the space what their own peptide stacks look like, what their results are, and what you should know before exploring peptides for yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-people-on-what-their-peptide-stack-is-and-why\">3 People on What Their Peptide Stack is and Why <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-dominant-color=\"94d6e2\" data-has-transparency=\"false\" style=\"--dominant-color: #94d6e2;\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" src=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/peptide-stack-NAD.jpg\" alt=\"peptide stack\" class=\"wp-image-45193 not-transparent\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-purvisha-patel-md\">Purvisha Patel, MD<\/h3>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/advanceddermatologymemphis.com\/about-us\/staff\/\">Purvisha Patel, MD<\/a>, a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Advanced Dermatology &amp; Skin Cancer Associates in Memphis, Tennessee, takes the KLOW stack:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BPC-157: focuses on tissue repair (tendons, ligaments, gut lining)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TB-500: promotes systemic recovery and new blood vessel formation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GHK-Cu: supports collagen synthesis, skin renewal, and tissue generation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>KPV: targets inflammation and supports immune health<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> She\u2019s been taking her peptide stack for a year and says she\u2019s never felt better in her life. She pairs them alongside other healthy habits\u2014including daily workouts, following a well-rounded diet, and getting regular skin treatments to stimulate collagen. Altogether, \u201cI am maximizing my efforts to stay young and active,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>FYIs:<\/strong> Dr. Patel reminds us that most peptides haven\u2019t been cleared for compounding, and emphasizes that sourcing isn\u2019t regulated. She also takes her peptides sublingually (i.e., administered under the tongue). \u201cThough its absorption isn\u2019t as good as injectables, it is less likely to be contaminated and cause harm,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>To further optimize safety, she advises consulting a physician before starting any peptide regimen, as well as getting a thorough cancer screening beforehand. \u201cPeptides do not discriminate between what cells they support and encourage, including cancer cells,\u201d she cautions.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-kiara-dewitt-bsn-rn-cpn\">Kiara DeWitt, BSN, RN, CPN<\/h3>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/injectco.com\/meet-our-team\/kiara\/\">Kiara Dewitt<\/a>, a registered nurse, accredited master nurse injector, and CEO at <a href=\"https:\/\/injectco.com\/\">InjectCo<\/a>, includes the following in her peptide stack:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Low-dose sermorelin: support for recovery, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/mighty-night\/\">sleep<\/a> quality, and energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GHK-Cu: for skin quality and hair density<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NAD+: not a peptide, but a coenzyme that boosts cellular energy and focus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> Dewitt started peptide therapy with sermorelin 14 months ago and slowly added the others since. She says that she has more steady energy throughout the day, better sleep efficiency, and about a 20 percent improvement in skin texture and tightness.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>FYIs:<\/strong> Positive results aside, she notes a few caveats\u2014including occasional injection site soreness with sermorelin, an adjustment <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/this-is-what-your-period-is-saying-about-your-health\/\">period<\/a> to get used to the flushing feeling from NAD+, and high price tags. She says she spends anywhere from $250 to $600 a month on her stack, which she gets through reputable 503A compounding pharmacies (which compound medications that are patient-specific and not produced in bulk).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re peptide-curious, Dewitt has a few pieces of advice. \u201cPrior to starting, make sure you work with a licensed medical provider who will order you baseline labs (including CBC, CMP, IGF 1, inflammatory markers, etc.),\u201d she says. She also advises steering clear of suspect websites. \u201cSites that sell for $40 a vial are extremely risky when it comes to contamination and dosing accuracy,\u201d she warns.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-michael-zachman\">Michael Zachman<\/h3>\n\n\n<p>Michael Zachman, owner of <a href=\"https:\/\/madisonmeds.com\/\">Madison Meds<\/a>, an online telehealth company that distributes peptides via 503a and 503b pharmacy partners, has the following in his peptide stack:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Low dose of tirzepatide: to maintain weight and control blood sugar and cholesterol levels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GHK-Cu, BP-157, and TB-500: for anti-aging, recovery, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/gut-health-and-immune-system\/\">gut health<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> \u201cMy experience using the stack has been amazing,\u201d Zachman shares. \u201cOver the course of the last three months, I\u2019ve noticed that my skin has cleared. I also noticed that after workouts I\u2019m becoming less sore and achy. I\u2019m 42 years old, so anything helps at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>FYIs: <\/strong>Zachman notes that it\u2019s historically been difficult to access peptides through a licensed medical provider\u2014not to mention cost-prohibitive for many. \u201cUnfortunately, some individuals purchase these peptides from the gray area market and do not know what they are actually getting,\u201d he warns (which is what inspired him to start his own company).<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-takeaway-on-peptide-stacks\">The Takeaway on Peptide Stacks<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Some people swear by their peptide stacks, saying that the results have been life-changing (or positive at the very least). That said, these reports are anecdotal, and there\u2019s a lot that needs to be done to properly vet the majority of peptides for safety and efficacy.
