Moreover, couples who felt a stronger afterglow\u2014that is, greater satisfaction and bonding post-sex\u2014felt happier in their marriages at both baseline and the follow-up months later.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>All things considered, this <a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/0956797617691361\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2017 study<\/a> in the journal<em> Psychological Science<\/em> suggests that sex could put more spring in your step <em>and<\/em> keep some zest in your relationship over time.
