Dopamine<\/h3>\r\nAmong other things, dopamine impacts our emotions, thinking, judgment, and problem-solving. Popularly associated with pleasure, dopamine <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/18660464\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">communicates with the front part of the brain<\/a> to\u00a0motivate you to work towards achieving a reward.\r\n\r\nFor instance, dopamine is behind that rush you get when you&#8217;re ready to eat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/dark-chocolate-almond-butter-cup-recipe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">your favorite dessert<\/a>.\r\n\r\nIt&#8217;s worth noting that too little dopamine can lead to stress.
