It&#8217;s a given that making good lifestyle choices\u2014such as getting adequate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.humnutrition.com\/blog\/mighty-night\/\">sleep<\/a>, eating a balanced diet, lowering stress, and not smoking\u2014are all habits that support your well-being.\r\n\r\nBut what about physical activity? Does exercise boost immunity, or can it possibly do more harm than good? Let&#8217;s find out.\r\n<h2>Does exercise boost the immune system?<\/h2>\r\nThe immune system is a complex system made up of cells, antibodies, proteins, and organs. They all work together to defend your body against sickness.\r\n\r\nAs mentioned earlier, there are many habits that can help boost your immunity. And when it comes to the link between exercise and immunity, there are a number of studies showing positive results.\r\n\r\nThrough research, we found that immune function is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC5911985\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">boosted after about 30 minutes<\/a> of exercise.
